Location Test Certificates

Location test certificates are supplied by test certifiers after inspection of fuel storage set up and location. The test is to verify hazardous substances such as fuels are located away from buildings, dwellings, waterways, combustible materials and ignition sources etc. The certificates also stipulate levels of emergency preparedness required such as secondary containment, emergency plans etc. Location test certificates are only generally required for storage of fuels exceeding 2000L in volume for petrol and 2500L in volume for diesel.
